About Bucked Up
Bucked Up is DAS Labs' loud, antlered bridge between hardcore sports nutrition and the beverage cooler. The brand built its name in pre-workout, where big caffeine, transparent labels, and gym-floor identity matter. From there, energy drinks were the obvious next move.
From Pre-Workout to RTD
Bucked Up Energy keeps more of the supplement-brand DNA than most canned energy drinks. The flagship energy line goes high-stim, while Bucked Up Refresher pulls the brand into a lighter lifestyle lane with 100mg caffeine, BCAAs, and nootropic support. That split is important: Bucked Up is not trying to make one can serve every drinker.
The brand also has enough athlete and creator gravity to make collabs feel natural. Drive Hydration with Bryson DeChambeau is the clearest example: a golf-focused RTD that is more formula-aware than most celebrity beverage plays.
Founder-Led Energy
Bucked Up still feels founder-led, which matters in a category where a lot of brands flatten out once they hit retail scale. Ryan and Jeff Gardner went deep on that story in Episode #181 of the PricePlow Podcast, covering the brand's internet-marketing roots, retail growth, and "billion or bust" mindset.
Why It Belongs Here
Bucked Up is interesting because it still feels like a supplement company, even when it is playing in broader beverage. That means the labels tend to have more going on, the positioning is sharper, and the consumer already expects performance claims to be backed by actual ingredients. It is not the quietest brand in the cooler, but quiet was never the point.
