Young LAtte: YoungLA and Gorilla Mind's Nootropic RTD Coffee Collab
YoungLA and Gorilla Mind debuted the Young LAtte at Arnold Classic 2026: An 11 oz RTD nootropic coffee built on a scaled Gorilla Mind Energy Matrix, with cold brew and real milk at 25 calories.
Most brand collabs take the easy route: slap two logos on a new flavor and ship it. YoungLA and Gorilla Mind went a far different direction. The YoungLA x Gorilla Mind Young LAtte is a nootropic RTD coffee: 11 oz, cold brew and real milk, the Gorilla Mind nootropic stack dialed in for the format, and 25 calories per can. It debuted at the Arnold Classic 2026, available at both brand booths.

Gorilla Mind has been moving fast lately -- they just dropped Rainbow Sherbet across the full lineup, and now this. The Young LAtte is a legitimately different kind of collab for both brands.
The Formula, Adjusted for Coffee
Gorilla Mind transplanted their Gorilla Mind Energy Matrix into the Young LAtte, but scaled it down to fit the occasion. A cold brew coffee isn't a 16 oz energy drink, and the dosing reflects that.

Here's how it compares to the original Gorilla Mind Energy Drink formula:
- Alpha-GPC 50% (300mg, down from 400mg) - supports focus and memory recall; still a meaningful dose at 300mg.
- Uridine Monophosphate (150mg, down from 200mg) - works alongside the Alpha-GPC to support cognitive function.
- Caffeine (140mg) - comes entirely from the cold brew extract, not added separately. That's the natural caffeine source for this one.
- L-Theanine (75mg, down from 100mg) - takes the edge off the caffeine without flattening the focus.
- Saffron Extract (10mg, down from 15mg) - Gorilla Mind's signature addition for mood support.
- Huperzine A (100mcg, down from 200mcg) - helps the brain hold onto its focus signals longer.
A few things worth noting: the Young LAtte drops the N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (1,000mg in the original) and the full B-vitamin complex. Both make sense, since RTD coffee shifts the tonicity from what you normally get in an energy drink. The caffeine number also comes down to 140mg from 200mg, which fits the format and time of day this product is aimed at.
Note that the ingredients list doesn't include added caffeine as a separate item. The 140mg is coming from the cold brew extract -- natural caffeine only.
Low-Calorie (Just 25)

The macros are cleaner than anything in the RTD espresso category. Most comparable 11 oz ready-to-drink coffees with real milk run over 100 calories. The Young LAtte comes in at 25, with 1g of sugar (none added), 0.5g of fat from the milk, and 1g of protein. It's made with filtered water, cold brew extract, and milk -- not a concentrate syrup situation.
The sweetener is sucralose. Disodium phosphate and pectin handle texture and stability in the slim can format.
Availability

The Young LAtte launched at Arnold Classic 2026 at the YoungLA and Gorilla Mind booths. As of the launch post, Gorilla Mind called it a limited opportunity -- "it might be your only chance to"... so it's not yet confirmed for wider retail or DTC availability. If that changes, check PricePlow's Gorilla Mind page for updates.
The Young LAtte is exactly what this collab should've been -- not just another energy drink flavor, but a different product for a different use case. Follow @BevlabMedia on TikTok and Instagram for updates if it hits retail.
