GHOST Energy Blueberry Cream Is Coming as 2027's First Limited Edition
The GHOST flavor fans dreamed up from an AI rumor becomes the brand's first limited edition of 2027, with first taste notes from GHOST HQ.
GHOST Energy Blueberry Cream is coming to cans. GHOST co-founder and CEO Dan Lourenço confirmed on Episode #241 of the PricePlow Podcast that the flavor will be GHOST's first limited edition of 2027, headed for broad distribution.[1]

It isn't on shelves yet. But the backstory alone makes it one of the stranger flavor launches of the year: GHOST didn't plan this one. Its fans invented it, the internet wouldn't let it go, and GHOST eventually decided the rumor should come true.
Blueberry Cream joins the GHOST Energy lineup, the zero-sugar, 200mg caffeine energy drink that Keurig Dr Pepper now distributes nationally.
From AI Rumor to Real Can
In 2025, rumors claimed a Blueberry Cream GHOST Energy had leaked on a distributor's order page. GHOST answered on video that it had never sampled the flavor or even put it on a whiteboard.[1] The rumor kept going anyway. Fake pallet photos circulated, and AI-generated can renders were convincing enough that Dan says he called his team to make sure he wasn't losing it.[1]

Instead of fighting it, he decided the flavor should exist. When a KDP leader at NACS asked what consumer insight inspired it, Dan's answer was simple: "the consumer insight is the fan".[1]
The idea wasn't random, either. GHOST already had a cream lineup, with Orange Cream helping inspire Raspberry Cream. Dan suspects fans connected those dots. GHOST had done blueberry before, but never a creamy one, and the cream base now gives the team a foundation for layering new fruit.[1]
What we know so far:
- Timing: first GHOST Energy limited edition of 2027
- Distribution: broad, per Dan, not a specialty-only drop
- Run length: GHOST runs about three rolling limited editions a year, roughly four months each
- Variety pack: a cream-flavor variety pack with Orange Cream and Raspberry Cream hasn't been discussed yet, but in Dan's words, "the answer's not no"
Release dates, retailers, and can art details haven't been announced. An early store listing appeared online, but the flavor isn't for sale yet.
First Taste at GHOST HQ
The episode opens with what Dan calls the first official Blueberry Cream flavor review, recorded at GHOST headquarters in Las Vegas.[1]

PricePlow's Mike Roberto says it was exactly what he wanted from smell to taste. He compares the over-the-top blueberry to Boo Berry cereal and warns it's not for the faint of heart. Dan gets more of a Go-Gurt vibe and calls it weirdly nostalgic, like something to drink while watching Saturday cartoons.[1]
If you like GHOST's loud, cream-forward flavors, this sounds like your can. If you prefer the subtler daily drinkers like Iced Tea Lemonade, it may be a once-in-a-while pick.
GHOST Energy: The Quick Breakdown
GHOST hasn't published a Blueberry Cream label yet. The core GHOST Energy formula has stayed consistent across the lineup, and our full GHOST Energy breakdown covers it in depth. Here's the standard 16 fl oz can:

- Natural caffeine (200mg) - From coffee bean. A solid, mid-range dose that's functional without going aggressive.
- Alpha-GPC (150mg) - A choline source added for focus.
- NeuroFactor (100mg) - A coffee cherry extract, dosed to match the amount used in its human studies.
- Carnipure L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (1,000mg) - A premium carnitine that most energy drinks skip entirely.
- Taurine (1,000mg) and AstraGin (25mg) - Taurine pairs naturally with caffeine, and AstraGin is a supporting absorption ingredient.
- Zero sugar, 5 calories - Sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium.
- Vitamins - Vitamin C, niacin, B6 as P5P, and B12 as methylcobalamin, each at 100% DV.

What to Watch
Blueberry Cream is GHOST in its purest form: a fan-built joke that turned into a real product, now riding KDP's distribution as a limited run. If it sells like the fans who invented it say it will, Dan says sustained demand is how a limited edition goes permanent.[1]
We'll update this once GHOST confirms a release date and the label. Until then, the full origin story and first review are on Episode #241 of the PricePlow Podcast.
