Red Bull Summer Edition Gets Sudachi Lime for 2026
Red Bull's 2026 Summer Edition is Sudachi Lime -- a limited-time drop built around Japanese citrus, lime, and pomelo, available nationwide now with and without sugar.
Red Bull just dropped its 2026 summer flavor: Red Bull Summer Edition Sudachi Lime. It landed April 27 and is already available nationwide, in both regular and sugarfree, while supplies last. The can is a hard-to-miss summer-sun yellow. If Red Bull Cherry Sakura was the energy drink giant's Japanese flavor debut for spring, Sudachi Lime is the brand pushing further into that same territory for summer.

Sudachi is doing the real work here (more on that below). Lime and pomelo are the familiar anchors, and together they're promising a tartier, more complex citrus profile than your average lemon-lime RTD. At least on paper, this looks like one of the more genuinely interesting citrus flavor builds Red Bull has put out in a while.
Sudachi Lime: The Flavor
Sudachi is a small green citrus fruit that is a specialty of Tokushima Prefecture in Japan. It is tart, not sweet, squeezed like a lemon rather than eaten whole, and it has a zestier, sharper aromatic edge than standard lime. Red Bull's official flavor profile is "zesty lime, tangy sudachi, and the subtle hint of pomelo". Lime is the backbone. Pomelo brings a mild, slightly sweet-bitter base note. Sudachi is what makes this interesting -- it's not yuzu, which has been thoroughly explored in the flavored beverage space, and it's not a generic citrus blend.

The cans are vibrant yellow and available in 8.4 fl oz and 12 fl oz. Sugarfree comes in 4-packs and 24-packs of the 12 fl oz size. This is a seasonal limited-time drop, so "while supplies last" is the operative phrase.
Red Bull also launched a Summer All Day Play Spotify playlist engagement alongside this drop. Through June 28, 2026, adding songs to a designated playlist enters you for a chance to win a Coachella 2027 experience. Details are on Red Bull's site if that's your thing.
Quick Formula Check
Same formula as standard Red Bull. The 8.4 fl oz regular can has 80mg caffeine. The 12 fl oz sizes scale up proportionally, and the sugarfree 12 fl oz label confirms 114mg caffeine per can.

Sugarfree comes in at 20 calories per 12 fl oz can and is sweetened with Sucralose and Acesulfame K, zero sugar. The regular version carries 26g of sugar per 8.4 fl oz can. Both include taurine and the standard B-vitamin stack: niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, and B12. No formula changes, no nootropic additions. This is a pure seasonal flavor drop.
For the full formula breakdown on what is inside a Red Bull can, the Cherry Sakura article has everything you need, and nothing has changed since then.
Where to Get Sudachi Lime

Sudachi Lime is available nationwide now at most major retailers while supplies last. Sugarfree 4-packs of the 12 fl oz size are already live on Amazon. Regular and sugarfree in both can sizes should be hitting convenience stores, grocery chains, and club stores alongside each other.
If you have been tracking Red Bull's seasonal editions, this is the one worth tracking down. Cherry Sakura was a floral Japanese profile finally getting its US moment. Sudachi Lime is a sharper, tartier pivot in the same direction. Sugarfree is the obvious call if you want the 114mg caffeine hit without 26g of sugar attached to it.
