KDP's 2027 Energy Slate: GHOST 7UP Stays, C4 Cocoa Loco, New Bloom
Keurig Dr Pepper's 2027 pipeline makes GHOST x 7UP and A&W permanent and adds new GHOST, Bloom and C4 flavors plus 8.4oz mini cans.
Keurig Dr Pepper used its October 5, 2026 preview ahead of the NACS Show to show what its energy push puts in your cooler next year. The headline number: more than 25 new energy items in 2027, split across permanent additions, limited runs, collabs, and new formats.[1] The biggest GHOST news is that GHOST Energy x 7UP and GHOST Energy x A&W are no longer limited drops. Both become permanent offerings in 2027.[1]

When we called GHOST Energy x 7UP Lemon Lime Is Now Official the clearest look at what the acquisition looks like in a can, this is where that was heading. KDP owns GHOST, and it owns 7UP and A&W. Now those soda-fountain collabs get a permanent spot in the cooler. Partner brands Bloom and C4 get their own nostalgia drops too, from ice cream truck treats to chocolate cereal.
If you're new to the lineup, GHOST Energy is a 16oz zero-sugar can with 200mg natural caffeine and a nootropic stack. Bloom Sparkling Energy is a 12oz slim can built around 180mg natural caffeine and gut-health extras. C4 Energy is Nutrabolt's 200mg performance can.
25+ Energy Items for 2027

KDP says innovation and limited-time offerings drove nearly three-quarters of energy category growth, which explains why the 2027 list leans so hard on flavor.[1] Chief Customer Officer Jeff Tabor called beverages "one of the strongest drivers of traffic and basket growth for convenience retailers."[1] The energy side already has momentum. KDP's energy portfolio crossed 9% U.S. market share in Q2, as we covered in GHOST and Bloom Carry KDP's Q2 as C4's Packaging Refresh Already Pays Off.
GHOST Locks In the Soda Collabs
KDP says GHOST is now a $1 billion brand at retail.[1] Here's what the brand has lined up:

- 7UP and A&W go permanent - Both collabs become permanent offerings in 2027, following what KDP calls the popularity and strong retail performance of their 2026 limited-time runs.[1] Catch up on the root beer drop in GHOST Energy x A&W Root Beer: A Limited-Time Flavor Drop.
- GHOST Energy Sour Strips Appleberry - A sweet-and-sour blend of green apple and strawberry that goes nationwide in January 2027.[1] We covered the flavor in The 2026 Ghost Energy Sour Strips Collab Comes in New Appleberry Flavor.
- GHOST Energy Blueberry Cream - A limited-time flavor that pairs tangy blueberry with sweet, creamy vanilla for a yogurt-inspired taste. KDP calls it a first-to-market flavor requested by consumers.[1] KDP hasn't given it a release month yet.
Root beer and lemon-lime earning permanent spots means KDP's soda catalog now feeds GHOST flavors on a regular basis, and the retail numbers backed that up.
Bloom Heads to the Ice Cream Truck
Bloom Energy is rolling out a three-flavor lineup inspired by childhood treats:[1]
- Strawberry Shortie - Strawberry and vanilla cream swirls modeled on a classic ice cream truck treat, available beginning in October 2026.[1]
- Cotton Candy - A take on blue cotton candy, arriving in January 2027.[1]
- Lemon Freezie - A frozen lemonade riff, also arriving in January 2027.[1]
That means Strawberry Shortie is the one you can hunt down this month.
C4 Pulls Off a Breakfast Heist

C4 Energy is expanding its zero-sugar Cereal's Most Wanted lineup in January 2027 on two fronts:[1]
- Cocoa Loco - A chocolate flavor inspired by chocolate hoop cereal, with a dash of marshmallow sweetness. It comes in 16oz cans with 200mg caffeine, CarnoSyn, and zero sugar.
- 8.4oz mini cans - Cereal Killer, Jacked Apple Crunch, and Buzzin' Honey O's each get a new mini can format.[1]
KDP hasn't shared the caffeine content of the mini cans yet. Still, a smaller can of a dessert-style cereal flavor makes sense for drinkers who don't want 16oz of it.
On the soda side, KDP also announced Dr Pepper Ice Cream Float and 7UP Miami Vice for 2027, but the energy slate is where most of the new items are.[1]

January Is the Big Month
Appleberry, Cotton Candy, Lemon Freezie, Cocoa Loco, and the C4 mini cans all land in January 2027, so that's when you'll see whether KDP's nostalgia-heavy pipeline moves cans the way the 2026 GHOST collabs did. Our bet is that it does, because the permanent 7UP and A&W cans already proved KDP's own soda brands sell as energy flavors.
