Bloom Iconic Treats Kick Off With Strawberry Shortie Energy
Bloom's Iconic Treats series starts with Strawberry Shortie on shelves now, with Cotton Candy and Lemon Freezie due in a January variety pack.
Bloom Sparkling Energy Strawberry Shortie is on shelves now, pairing strawberry and vanilla in a can inspired by the strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. It's the first flavor in Bloom's new Iconic Treats series, a run of childhood-treat flavors for Bloom Sparkling Energy, the zero-sugar 12oz slim can built around 180mg natural caffeine and a gut-health angle.
Our rundown of KDP's 2027 energy slate flagged new Bloom flavors on the way, and the first one is already here. Two more treats are due in January 2027, and the way you'll be able to buy them comes with a catch.

Strawberry Shortie Hits the Ice Cream Truck
The pitch is strawberry and vanilla, modeled on the shortcake bar you chased down the street as a kid. That's a dessert lane for a brand whose energy lineup usually sticks to fruit, and the Iconic Treats artwork leans into it with matching illustrations that run from the ice cream truck to the carnival.
Bloom hasn't said more than strawberry and vanilla, so we won't guess at how sweet or creamy it runs. If a strawberry shortcake bar sounds better than another berry blend, this is the Bloom can to grab first.
Two More Treats Coming in January

The rest of the Iconic Treats lineup is still on the way:
- Cotton Candy: A sweet, airy take on blue cotton candy, slated for January 2027.
- Lemon Freezie: A frozen-lemonade-inspired flavor, also slated for January 2027.
Here's the catch. Cotton Candy and Lemon Freezie are expected to come only in an Iconic Treats Variety Pack with equal amounts of all three flavors, so plan on buying a mixed box once they land. For now, Strawberry Shortie is the only Iconic Treats flavor you can actually buy.
What's Inside the Can

The Strawberry Shortie can carries 180mg natural caffeine from green coffee bean extract, plus L-theanine, taurine, Asian ginseng, apple cider vinegar, and B vitamins, at 10 calories and 0g sugar. It's sweetened with sucralose.
Like the rest of the current Bloom Sparkling Energy lineup, its prebiotic is xylooligosaccharides (XOS), branded PreticX, the same prebiotic inside Bloom Pop.
